MuBrain #2 — Who Owns an Organization's Intelligence?

Part of an organization’s intelligence lives in its systems, processes, and documents. Another part lives in people: their experience, relationships, intuition, and understanding of context.

And tomorrow, part of that intelligence will also be carried by agents.

This MuBrain meetup will explore a deliberately difficult question: where are the boundaries between the intelligence of the organization and that of the individuals who make it up?

We will look in particular at the onboarding and offboarding of intelligence: how can a person genuinely enrich the collective without the organization pretending to absorb what belongs to that person? And how can a departure avoid taking with it a critical part of the organization’s memory and capacity for action?

The meetup will take place as a 5@7, 100% in person, with a short introduction followed by structured discussion.

Proposed questions

• What belongs to the collective, and what remains individual?
• Can some forms of intellectual contribution be governed contractually without confusing them with ownership of a person?
• How can the context of a decision be captured without capturing the individual?
• How do AI agents change these boundaries?

The objective is not to reach a definitive answer, but to build a sufficiently robust framework for further MuBrain research.
